Committees
The Destined To Be Free Organization Board oversees the organization committees which assists in the functionality of the organization. Each committee is chaired by a board member.
To join one of our committees, you may complete an application, and our Director of Human Resources will contact you for an interview.
Executive Committee – Oversee board operations; acts on behalf of the board comprised of the president, vice president, and committee chairs. The Ethics committee is a subcommittee of the Executive Committee

- Ethics Committee – Develop ethical guideline policies and resolve conflicts
Finance – Oversees the budget; responsible for accurate tracking and accountability for funds; responsible for reviewing grants. The committee chair is the organization’s treasurer. Oversees all Fundraising research, and solicits funds.
Program Development and Research – Guides development of organization programs. Conducts any research or data needed to make decisions within the organization. A link between the board and the staff on program activities
Marketing and Public Relations – Oversees the organization’s Marketing Plan. Represents the organization to the community including communications with the media.
Volunteer Management Committee: Recruits volunteers to assist with the organization’s events and also to assist with standing committees.
